Aaron Carter — the former child pop star and younger brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter — was found dead in a bathtub at his home in Lancaster, California, on Nov. 5, 2022.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner determined that the singer died after taking alprazolam, which is generic Xanax, and inhaling compressed difluoroethane, which is a propellant used in cans of compressed air, which caused him to be “incapacitated while in the bathtub due to the effects” of the drugs and huffing, leading him to slip under the water and drown.
An autopsy concluded that his death was accidental. Aaron, who was mourned by many of his music peers and other celebrities, was just 34…
