Missouri State University awarded 550 degrees to students during summer 2023.
Crunching the numbers
Students earned a total of 318 bachelor’s degrees, 208 master’s degrees, 16 doctorate degrees and eight specialist degrees.
Past the standard expectations, the university recognized two students for their work with a more rigorous curriculum in Missouri State’s Honors College.
Several students also received scholastic honors:
- Eight students graduated summa cum laude, with GPAs of 3.9-4.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- 17 students graduated magna cum laude, with GPAs of 3.75-3.89.
- 42 students graduated cum laude, with GPAs of 3.5-3.74.
Summer 2023 graduates will participate in the fall commencement ceremony on Dec. 15 at Great Southern Bank Arena.
