Since the May kickoff of the Foo Fighters’ first tour since the March 22 death of drummer Taylor Hawkins, the band has performed a mid-set covers medley. The songs have varied (and mostly have leaned on new drummer Josh Freese’s previous bands), and recently, the Foos unexpectedly weaved in Michael Bublé’s “Haven’t Met You Yet.”
Last night (Aug. 12) at San Francisco’s Outside Lands, a festival at which attendees have come to expect the unexpected, rumbled along, the Foos brought up Bublé himself to join them on vocals on his 2009 single.
