Who’s performing during the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show? The answer might surprise you! On Sept. 24, Usher took to X, formerly Twitter, to announce that he’s headlining music’s biggest gig of the year — and reactions on social media were mixed on whether he’s really the right star for the gig.
“Usher being the next Superbowl halftime performer is so random,” one fan wrote, summing up the sentiments of many, while another insisted, “Usher definitely will nail it at super bowl halftime show” — an opinion held by many other fans.=
Usher’s insisted he’ll deliver. “This is a moment that I’ve waited my entire life for and I’m not coming to disappoint,” he said on “CBS This Morning” the day after the announcement.
