Controversial sports star questions God's existence after suffering a career-ending injury

Megan Rapinoe has always spoken her mind — for better or for worse — and she’s now raising eyebrows after saying that a career-ending injury is proof that God doesn’t exist. 

The statement came after the two-time World Cup winner suffered a “devastating” injury over the weekend in the last match of her celebrated career. Although it hasn’t been confirmed, Megan believes she tore her Achilles tendon. In speaking of the injury, which occurred just a few minutes into her final match, Megan used some “dark humor” to cope with her emotions.
