Just a few weeks removed from an 11th hour concert cancelation in Mississippi, Morgan Wallen is now pulling the plug on a slew of tour shows under “doctor’s orders.”

The “Last Night” singer took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 9, to break the “bad news” and apologize to his fans.

“After taking 10 days of vocal rest I performed three shows last weekend in Florida and by the third one I felt terrible,” she said. 

Following the trio of shows on the One Night at a Time Tour, Morgan got his voice scoped and found out that he re-injured his vocal chords and has “vocal fold trauma.” To correct the issue, Morgan was told to go on six weeks of vocal rest. In fact, the country superstar was told to refrain from speaking as much as possible. 

In all, 14 shows — from May 18 to June 17 — are being rescheduled. He’s also canceled his performance at this week’s Academy of Country Music Awards, where he’s up for Entertainer of the Year.
